Cider (サイダー, Saidā) or God of Destruction Cider (破壊神サイダー, Hakaishin Saidā) is the God of Destruction of another universe. He appears in the upcoming fan fiction Dragon Ball Champions.
Appearance[]
Cider is a muscular human-looking deity with gold eyes, dark brown combed-back hair, and a tan complexion. His attire consists of a black business suit with a white button-up undershirt and a red tie. His footwear consists of black loafers.
Personality[]
Cider is a serious, stern, no-nonsense person. Being a God of Destruction, he cares little about death and the billions, possibly trillions of lives he has taken over the years he has been the God of Destruction. He does occasionally show some remorse, but quickly brushes it aside. On the flip side, Cider is surprisingly well-mannered and polite, and can be quite sociable and friendly when in a good mood.
Biography[]
Before becoming the God of Destruction, Cider was a Supreme Kai. He challenged the current God of Destruction, and not only won, but killed him. Cider became the God of Destruction of his respective universe and was tasked with maintaining balance in the universe by destroying planets in order for new planets to be created. He is significantly less indiscriminate about the planets he destroys, and "judges" said planet before deciding to destroy it. In Dragon Ball Champions, Cider is responsible for the destruction of Planet Vegeta, thinking of the Saiyans as "jerks".
Techniques and special abilites[]
- Flight – The ability to fly with the use of ki.
- Ki Blast – The most basic form of energy wave. Cider can fire ki blasts strong enough to destroy an entire planet.
- God of Destruction's Blitz - Cider charges a green energy sphere in each hand, and throws the spheres one after the other.
- God of Destruction's Blow - Cider charges at the opponent and blasts them point-blank with an energy sphere.
- God of Destruction's Fury - Cider's green colored version of Eye Lasers.
- God of Destruction's Rage - Cider puts his hand forward with the other supporting it in a manner similar to the Explosive Demon Wave. Then, he charges a green energy sphere and fires it in the form of an energy wave at the opponent.
- Cider Counter - A counterattack where Cider dodges the opponent's attack and delivers a double axe handle from behind.
Trivia[]
- Cider's name is a pun on apple cider, an alcoholic drink made from fermented crushed apples.
- Cider is the first character to appear in Dragon Ball Champions.
- As a Supreme Kai, it is said Cider was the East Supreme Kai.
