Goku in the Draconic Super Saiyan form, before heading to the Demon Realm with Vegeta to destroy it.
Draconic Super Saiyan is a Super Saiyan form that surpasses Super Saiyan 5, unique to Goku. It resembles the Super Saiyan 5 form, with darker fur, two small horns on the forehead and a Dragon Ball in the center. The form might be an evolution of Super Saiyan 5 after Goku trained in the Shadow Dragon World, and absorbed one Dragon Ball. This lead to him technically becoming a Dragon, with his unique set of Dragon Balls that grant no wishes.
Nearing the final arc of the Demons Saga, Omega Shenron suggested that Goku absorbs a smaller Shadow Dragon Ball in order to see if it will have any effect on him. Goku needed all the power he can gather to destroy the Demon Realm and eradicate the Demons from existence. Afterwards, Goku left the Shadow Dragon World, ready to pay the Demons a visit. He first encounters the heirs to the Demon Throne, Demigra and Oroburus. Goku easily defeated the two of them after discovering that his transformation gave him the ability to drain one's power. He is able to go through the Demon Realm's mightiest of warriors unopposed, with Vegeta providing some help. However, the Demon witch known as Kogomibiya manages to put both of them under a nightmare spell, where they fought 100 copies of Ultimate Xicor. However, she was not able to maintain the spell, and during the spell, SSJ5 Gogeta breaks out, and knocks Kogomibiya unconscious. With no more Demons left, the Realm was empty, Kogomibiya being the only Demon to survive. This later leads to Beerus' awakening and the creation of Evil Goku in the Future timeline.
(NOTE: Broly is brough to Earth from Vampa in the middle of the Demon Sagas and he learns Super Saiyan 4.)

Beerus Saga[]
After the end of the Demon Sagas, Beerus would awaken from his slumber, he has dreamt of the Super Saiyan God, and well, he didn't feel any energy from the Demon World. When he asks Whis about it, he tells him a man called Son Goku obliterated the Demon Realm, leaving only one survivor. Beerus doesn't really care about the Demons, but he asks about Son Goku, and if he was indeed the Super Saiyan God. Whis tells him about Draconic Super Saiyan, which is similar but far from what he saw.
He then pays King Kai a visit, to see where Son Goku is. However, Goku only uses Super Saiyan 5 here, and is no match.
Beerus then goes to Earth, seeing a massive party happening as Bulma is celebrating her birthday. Like in the Battle of Gods movie, most events go as usual, with Beerus eating some of the food, but without Buu, Beerus remains somewhat chill. He then brings up the topic of Super Saiyan God. Goku still doesn't know what that is, but he offered to fight him in his strongest form which is Draconic Super Saiyan. Goku does extremely well fighting Beerus, even reaching the point where he overpowered him, making Beerus resort to using 50% of his power, ultimately knocking out Goku.
Evil Goku Saga[]
After Beerus left Earth by 2 years, Future Trunks and Future Broly would go to the past with their Time Machine, to alert the Z-FIghters of the incoming threat of Evil Goku and his master Kogomibiya, the mage from the Demon Realm. A clone of Goku was created to serve as her puppet after a wish using the Super Dragon Balls, and would destroy all of the Earth leaving only city rubble. As a result, Goku, Vegeta and Broly trained for 3 years in the HBTC, and then they leave two years before Evil Goku shows up in the present.
Beerus eventually would track down Kogomibiya in the present, and erased her with a Hakai, claiming that now all versions of her should be dead in all timelines, in order to prevent time travel by the Z-Fighters. However, they later find out this does not work as intended, as Evil Goku travels to the Present world to have a fight with Goku, where Goku used Draconic Super Saiyan and defeats him, but he gets away before that can even happen. They are now permitted by the God of Destruction to travel to the future and take him out. Broly would not go with them this time.
For most of the fight, Goku alternated between SSJG(4) and DSSJ, until he eventually absorbed Evil Goku's negative energy, turning him and Vegeta into Void Ki Super Saiyans.
Hell Rebellion and Frecelbuu Saga[]
In the arc, the form is not used that much, and is only used when Frecelbuu had almost defused, but then Frecelbuu turned Goten and Panbra (Pan and Bra fused) into 2 chocolate bars, eating them and gaining horrendous power. This would force Goku and Vegeta to fuse into Gogeta and use the VKSSJ form.
20 Universes Tournament Saga[]
Goku uses the form in order to wipe out some of the weaker universes, but is forced to tap out of the form when facing against Jiren, Mirumiru, the Elite God Warriors, and the Xaiyan Warriors from Universes 11, 13, 17, and 20 respectively, instead using VKSSJ and UIO, leading to DSSJ losing it's relevance for most of the series.
