"It ain't much but it's honest work."
— Duryen answering to Chelon about his farmer job.

Duryen of Bomba (sometimes named as "Duryoen" and "Durio"), is a member from the Zibet race, originating from the planet Thinus just like Dodoria. Unlike Dodoria, Duryen isn't cruel or evil at heart, rather being content to live his peaceful life as a farmer in his homeworld and training children for self-defense. His side-job being a master of the martial art named "Thorn-Style Palm", a fighting style solely rooted in disarming opponents, wrestling them and mixed with various kinds of striking techniques. Although rotund, he knows how to push back and fight for his people, earning him the nicknames "The Good Farmer" and "Green Hero".

Biography[]

Origins[]

Personality[]

Duryen is a very honest Zibetian like the majority of his people in his small village, kindhearted and generous but also a bit simple-minded and somewhat of an oaf at certain occasions, prompting him to be seen as a silly individual in a comical perspective. Because he was away from large cities, Duryen never knew much about the outside world and thus originates his simple-minded intelligence and oaf-like attitude; stating his reasons to stay away from heavy crowded areas being "too loud and nothing about calm is present within cities" but from time to time, he began to be slightly more open about cities and sometimes goes to take visits in big towns to buy items or food.

Duryen also possess a peaceful perspective, as he refuses to allow cruelty to happen and is against any forms of unnecessary violence, believing martial arts were created for the weak to defend itself and not to inflict harms on other individuals. This is due to the fact he never enjoyed wars in general, for he has seen too much innocent blood being splattered in the past.

While every Zibetians have different mutations, some of the changes that are seemingly similar are the growth of additional and bigger spikes, more muscular mass and with thicker flesh and bones, as well powering up greatly. For Duryen's case, his spikes grows bigger but he can also manipulate said spikes to form shapes with greater ease than his kin: most of his techniques revolves around biomass and genetic manipulations to create shapes for defensive and offensive purposes.
