Echo-Ki Sensory is an ability similar to that of Echolocation in practice and a rather unique take on the commonly utilized Ki Sense ability, which is widely used by many warriors that use Ki.

Overview

Echo-Ki Sensory is an ability created by Ruttsu Karera, whom naturally possesses this technique. Unlike the common version of Ki Sense, which is used by opening one's senses to the presence of other Ki signatures, this ability behaves like one would expect Echolocation to. Ruttsu, unlike other Saiyans (or people in general), leaks his Ki in a state similar to Blutz Wave Radiation. This Blutz Wave-like state will pass under other Ki Sensing individual's radar and will reflect back to Ruttsu, informing him of that person's location. This is possible due to the presence of Ruttsu's tail, which is tuned into to his Ki frequency and sends that information back through his nervous system which is received by his brain. Ruttsu is able to tell the power level of an opponent based off of how fiercely those waves return to him, distance is determined by how long it takes for the waves to return back.

Drawbacks 

• This ability, unlike the normal version of Ki Sense, can't be consciously turned off, making the user constantly aware of their surroundings at all times.
• This particular ability actually heavily relies on a sensory organ, his tail. This means that if his tail were to be cut off then he would lose the ability to sense Ki in this way.
• Being able to tell the difference between different Ki signatures becomes a rather difficult task as all returning waves will feel similar to each other that an unskilled user may not be able to tell the difference between friend or foe, which Ruttsu demonstrated in his early years.
• God Ki can't properly be sensed via Echo-Ki Sensory due to how God Ki disrupts the waves, interfering with the reading and only allowing for a general idea of their location to be understood without the normally associated understanding of their power level.

Variations

• Heightened Echo-Ki Sensory- This is a more advanced variation of the Echo-Ki Sensory technique, which grants the user the ability to sense Dense Ki.
