Edona "Edon" Rutacee is a striving martial artist prodigy who participates in various fighting tournaments around the globe, willingly testing his combat skills and fight various opponents so he can become stronger and refine his style of combat, the Neo Jaguar-Style Fist. The nephew of the former legendary martial artist Lao Chuu, Edon strives to become as strong and legendary like his uncle, with his dream being to surpass the former Jaguar Slayer and become the undisputed champion in many martial arts.

While his ethics and moral view doesn't align with his uncle, a schism was born and the two departed with their respective opinions, Edona decided to partake in underground fighting tournaments to sharpen his skills and walk in his own path between light and shadows. He is one of the many starting characters in Dragon Ball: Ultra Raging Blast, coming from the Neoverse fanwork section.

Fighter Overview

Fighter Analysis

Edona is a best example of a fighter fully focused on attack and offensive tactics, a perfect combination of a Striker and a Slayer: possessing high damage potential in his moves whilst performing extended and lengthy combos with fast strikes, without requiring intense and complex strategies that involves zoning or anything difficult. Just like most Specialists, he possess a variety of alternate attacks by holding the attack inputs or requiring a certain timing to have a new attack, however mastering them all can prove to be difficult for new players; because of his background as an Offensive fighter with the Striker type, Edona has more alternate attacks than other Specialists possess but lacks most of the Strikers' basic knockback bonus, as some of his attacks may have knockbacks during specific combos or when used as counters.

Fighting Style

Edona's combos requires a certain degree of perfect timing but most of his Unique Combos are almost done easier and semi-automatic when pressing the attack inputs, whilst trying to link his combos may be either easy or hard depending on which attacks used. If done right, Edona's attacks can become nigh-perfect strings against guarding opponents: this means his Light, Medium and Heavy input attacks, no matter which ones, can apply intense pressure and deal chipping damage until the enemy's guard breaks.

Flaws & Weaknesses

Move List (Classic Fighting Mode)

Normal Moves

Special attacks will be between two "", those moves can be only used when the fighter is entering a specific state/mode/form.

Light Attacks

  • Jaguar Jab (L-Input): A classic jab from Muay Thai and Boxing, learned from his father and later, Mr. Lao. Useful for combo starters or poking an opponent's guard, deals weak chipping damage. One of Edona's best tools for pressuring his opponents' guard. If done right, a player can spam the jab without entering in any combos as a way to constantly poke or measure the distance.
    • Striking Jaguar (L + L): Edona throws another quick jab from the same hand at a fast pace. Useful for poking and chipping an opponent's guard, Edona's second attack sets off for combos, which can also be used for canceling or reset combos.
      • Perpetual Glaives (L + L + L): After the second jab, Edona follows with a front side kick aimed to the midsection and ends with a quick flying punch to the face, further stumbling his opponent backward. The last hit has more knockback, so his opponent gets pushed away for some distance with the potential of creating further combos.
    • Jaguar Storm (L - Hold): Edona performs a series of ultra-quick jabs of the same hand, aiming at the head, torso and lower body of his opponent. The time limit for holding the input is 10 seconds and at best, the Jaguar Storm can at least strikes over 30 times if the opponent is backed to a structure/obstacle. When releasing the input, Edona will perform a fast palm strike with his other hand to push away his opponent.
  • Rising Fang (↑ + L): Executed by pressing upward and the Light Input, Edona performs a very fast high heel kick angled above his head with his rear leg while using his other foot for steadiness, dealing weak knockback and damage. Due to his body being crouched during the animation, his hurtbox is difficult to be hit and thus an excellent anti-air tool against airborne enemies; whilst being efficient for dealing weak chipping damage. While the angle makes it hard to poke guarding opponent, it's instead better for juggling combos.
    • Double Edged (↑ + L, L): By pressing the Light Input again, Edona will follow with a downward strike similar to an axe kick, forcing his opponent to lean forward from the impact. Can be used quickly for chip damage against blocking opponents. Airborne opponents will be slammed onto the ground if caught by the downward kick but used as a counter against airborne opponents will knock them away instead.
    • Falling Fang (↑ + L - Hold): Pressing the upward direction and the Light input will order Edona perform one of his signature techniques, the Falling Fang, where he swings his front leg around from behind and brings it down against the opponent. It is a 2-hit attack and works as an overhead, thus bypassing a crouching opponent who put up their guard. The speed is moderate and can do chipping damage against blocking opponents.
  • Front High Kick (↗ + L): Executed by pressing forward-upward and the Light Input, Edona performs a quick high kick to the face with his rear leg with weak knockback and damage, hopping while throwing his leg forth. With it's speed, it's a good poking tool against blocking opponents and gaining distance from foes who attempts to get closer to Edona. If Edona succeed in hitting his opponent with the move, he will say "Gotcha!" or "Take that!".
    • Double High Kick (↗ + L, L): Pressing the Light Input again will make Edona throw another similar kick from his other leg, in which he will also. Also a good poking tool but has slightly more knockback thus acts more as a combo ender for juggling combos. With both legs kicking, it does weak chip damage but paired with other Light attacks can easily make an opponent struggle.
  • Hawk Kick Thrust (→ + L): By pressing the Light Input while angling the joystick forward, Edona will do a front foot thrust at the midsection to push his opponent backwards at a slight distance, enough to have safe space but not too far either. If used as a counter, the kick will stagger the opponent but not trip them. Used as a checking tool to gain distance against opponents too eager to close the gap. Using the move on juggled opponents will slightly knock them away, useful for further combos. During certain combos, Edona may use his rear leg instead of the front leg.
    • Torso Blow (→ + L - Hold): Holding the Light Input will make the Jaguar Slayer feint quickly his front leg and uses said leg to propel himself forth, then strikes with a fast body punch at his opponent's stomach with his left arm. The move has a quite deep impact, staggering slightly but enough to leave the enemy vulnerable. Against heavily crumpled enemies or used during the end of a combo, Torso Blow can knock back instead of staggering.
  • Saber Knee (↘ + L): Edona performs an upward thrusting knee strike to the opponent's face (or stomach, if the foe is taller), does light damage but is quick to be deployed and a useful poking tool that is safe on block. The Saber Knee has slightly more knockback than Edona's other Light attacks, right behind Swinging Slash Leg. This mean it can be used for juggling combos, though the knockback may push away the juggled opponent farther instead.
    • Rhinoceros Horn (↘ + L - Hold): Edona steps forth while rising his front knee to strike his opponent's body, dealing light damage and weak knockback. Depending on how tall his opponent, the knee may either target the head or the stomach. A fast poking tool that deals chipping damage against guards but also useful during juggling combos. Unlike it's stationary form, Rhinoceros Horn does slightly less damage and knockback as it's meant for more combo starting potential.
      • Smashing Horns (↘ + L - Hold, ↘ + L): Edona first performs his Rhinoceros Horn and follows with a Saber Knee with his opposite leg, creating a double knee combo. Depending on how tall his opponent, the knees either strike the abdomen or the head but most of the time being it'S the first knee slams into the stomach and the second knee hits the face square because the first knee makes the opponent clutch their torso. Does light chipping damage but is rather slow to use as a poking combo tool.
  • Crouching Slash (↓ + L): When crouching, Edona quickly claws at his opponent's legs twice with each hand, dealing slashing properties. While fast, their circular motions makes it short for a poke and their recovery is slower than the average Light crouched attacks. Does weak chipping damage against blocking opponents but can be repeatedly used if mashing fast enough.
    • Sneaky Slash (↓ + L, L): After slashing twice, pressing the Light Input makes Edona performing a third slashing attack with both of his hands in an outward circular motion. Sets up for further crouched combos. Does weak chipping damage against blocking opponents.
      • Low Jaguar Strike (↓ + L, L, L): Holding the Light Input while crouching will make Edona spin on himself in a low stance and deliver a low roundhouse kick at the level of the knees, using his heel as the primary hit. The opponent flinch and hold their struck leg for a moment, though only if the opponent doesn't decide to do any attacks or movements. With all the four hits combined, the combo does moderate chipping damage and useful against guarding opponents.
    • Silent Killer (↓ + L - Hold): Follows with a crouching low kick, striking with the tip of his foot. The kick deals additional staggering effect to the opponent, making them tumble on their feet for a moment. If used as a counter, the kick will make the opponent fall.
  • Fast Low Kick (↙ + L): A fast low-angled kick with the rear leg, good for poking at close range. A classic Muay Thai move, helpful to poke against an opponent's guard and deals low chip damage. Fast Low Kick be used several times in chained combo if mashing the inputs fast enough. One of the most versatile moves in Edona's arsenal of techniques.
    • Forth Low Poke (↙ + L - Hold): Instead of his rear leg, Edona steps forth while doing a front low kick to get close to his opponent. Has the same properties of it's non-stepping version but the step makes the attack delay a bit more, thus predictable against counterattacks. However, interchanging between both versions while mixing other light pokes is useful to quickly chip damage an opponent's block to create possible guard break. Forth Low Kick is great at starting several combos.
  • Quick Slash Attack (← + L): Using his fingers, Edona performs an upward circular slash with his rear hand at a fast speed and has slashing properties. The animation's movement has projectile reflecting property if timed well, making it a tool for both offensive and defensive purposes but isn't a good tool for poking at guards because of it's range. Because of the upward motion, projectiles will most likely bounce back in an upward angle.
    • Tiger's Claws (← + L, L): Follows with a downward swipe with his other hand, also using his fingers to claw at his opponent and has slashing properties. Useful for juggles and extending combos when both hits land. Basically the opposite of the previous attack in terms of motion, it also can reflect projectiles if timed well. Due to the downward motion, the projectiles may bounce in a slightly downward trajectory.
  • Swinging Slash Leg (↖ + L): Angling the direction diagonal-backward while pressing the Light Input will make Edona do a small step forward and deliver a roundhouse kick at his opponent's midsection in an inward motion. Of all his Light Attacks, this move deals the most damage and knockback; whilst being in third place for having the longest range of all his normal moves. It has considerable range and fast to deploy but has little knockback and the swing's animation leaves Edona vulnerable for a short moment due to it's ending lag. Only during combos and counters the Swinging Slash Leg can become stronger and knock away enemies, acting as a combo ender. If timed well, the kick can also deflect energy projectiles back to it's sender.
  • Forth Dash Attack (↠ + L) - Rhinoceros & Eagle Charge: Edona leaps on a short distance and unleash a quick knee strike at the abdomen, followed with a flying punch to the face. The start-up speed of the first attacks is fast but slightly unsafe on block, though an excellent tool for poking guards and combo extensions when opponents are being in a juggled state. Does slight knockback and moderate damage but opens the path for further combos after landing the second hit.
  • Back Dash Attack - Leopard Stinger (↞ + L): Does a quick hop while delivering a spinning heel kick at close range, pushing away his opponent whilst distancing himself. Can be executed many times by dashing and pressing the inputs perfectly.

Medium Attacks

  • Javelin Kick (M-Input): Executed by pressing Medium Input, Edona delivers a direct sidekick to the opponent's abdomen with great precision by using his front leg. Staggers moderately the opponent from the impact and can be used to measure the distance between himself and the enemy, preventing the foe to get closer to Edona. Though slightly fast, useful as a poking tool and does moderate chipping damage. During certain combos, Edona will use the rear leg even if it's the Javelin Kick.
    • Javelin Strikes (M + M): If the first kick connects, Edona follows with a second sidekick that also lands into the stomach of his foe, with more speed and will lean backward for further reach while doing the attack. The second kick staggers heavily the opponent, enough for further follow-ups. Can be used as a poking tool and does medium chip damage against guarding opponents.
    • Tricky Kick✧ (M - Hold):
  • Double Elbow Slash (↑ + M): With his rear arm, Edona performs a fast elbow swipe in an upper-diagonal angle, slashing the opponent's face at close contact. Deals slashing effects and is a good tool for accumulating crumpling effect against opponents. Airborne opponents will be launched if struck by the Buffalo's Horn, efficient for juggling combos. During certain combos and depending on how the opponent accumulated enough crumpling effect, the elbow strike may launch the foe.
    • Buffalo's Horn (↑ + M - Hold): With his rear arm, Edona performs a fast elbow swipe in an upper-diagonal angle, slashing the opponent's face at close contact.
      • Dual Horns (↑ + M - Hold, M): Uses both elbows to deliver an upward elbow strike from each arm, the second elbow sending the opponent upward. The second strike staggers the opponents and makes them stumble backward slightly. If used during the middle of a combo, the second elbow-uppercut will not launch the enemy. If used as a combo ender, the second elbow-uppercut will launch the opponent.
  • Elephant Stomp (↗ + M): Edona lifts his rear leg and slams his foot's heel downward onto his foe's upper body, forcing them to crouch from the impact. If the opponent is already crouching, the kick will rather knock the enemy flat on the ground, face first. Since Edona's foot slams into the ground, he can potentially strike his opponent's foot as well which results into a 2-hit combo. Airborne enemies will enter in a bouncing state if caught by the kick. When no further inputs are pressed, a short animation will show Edona mocking at his struck opponent. Somewhat slow, with the right timing the Elephant Stomp can be both used as offensive and defensive purposes.
    • Elephant Stampede (↗ + M, M): Similar to the first stomp except Edona will perform a step forward while swinging his other leg upward and slam it over the opponent's head for a second axe kick, this time knocking them down. If the first stomp doesn't land first, the second stomp will not knock the opponent down to the ground and will only force them to crouch, in a similar fashion to the first stomp. Like the first axe kick, airborne enemies will enter a bouncing state and crouched opponents will also get knocked flat on the ground. There is no bouncing state if both axe kicks connects, only knocking the foe down. Similarly, the second stomp can also hit his enemy's foot to create a 2-hit combo.
  • Advancing Step Kick (→ + M): Performed by angling the direction input forth while pressing the Medium Input, the attack sees Edona take a step forward and launch a fast strong kick at the opponent's midsection with his front leg. An excellent offensive tool for pokes and keeping the opponent at a certain range. If no further inputs are being pressed, Edona will stretch the leg he kicked with while snickering. Because his animation makes his knee rises first quickly, it's also count as a hit and creates a 2-hit attack if close enough to the opponent.
    • Feinting Step Kick (→ + M + Dodge): Pressing the Dodge Input will make Edona quickly feint the kick and only raise his knee. While in the feinting animation, he can block with his leg to prevent middle or lower attacks. By dashing backward during his feinting animation, Edona can dodge incoming attacks. Edona can dodge at any direction depending on the player's choice to press a direction with the joystick but if no directional inputs are pressed, then he will dodge on spot instead.
    • Forward Heel Drop (→ + M - Hold, ↓ + M): Holding the Medium Input will make Edona instead raise his leg at the last second and perform an axe kick that strikes the upper body of his opponent, forcing them to stagger slightly. If the axe kick catches airborne opponent, it will rather knock them away. A successful hit will make Edona cackle at his opponent but on block, he will rather groan in annoyance and will curse if he misses his target.
  • Tiger's Stepping Kick (↘ + M):
  • Whipping Low Cut (↓ + M): Reaches his rear leg to perform a very low crouching kick at his opponent legs in the fashion of a whip's motions. Deals a good amount of damage and while slightly slow starting, can be used for poking against guards. Because Edona also swings himself forward a little before landing the kick, the move has overall great range as a result to keep opponents at bay. If used to counter an opponent's attack, the kick will induce crumpling effect which makes the opponent stagger and hold their struck leg for a moment; this is useful since it leaves for a window of opportunities to Edona.
    • Whipping Low Edges (↓ + M, M): Does another similar crouching whip kick to the opponent's lower body, causing further staggering in their balance and causes the foe to stumble backward further more. While the first kick does more damage, the second has more knockback due to the accumulated stagger the opponent received. On counter, the second kick will also induce a crumpling effect but if both kicks connect during a counter moment, the opponent will trip on the ground.
    • Surprise Knee Strike (↓ + M - Hold): While crouching and holding the Medium Input, Edona will perform a short leap upward and deliver a quick knee strike with his front leg. The longer the inputs are held, the higher Edona's hop will become; the time limit for holding being 5 seconds and the damage will also gradually get stronger (damage will be multiplicated by 1.8x at maximum level). On the weakest level, it will do low knockback and only stagger slightly the opponent on hit but at peak level, the knee strike will have a powerful knockback that sends the target soaring in the air. It may be used for juggles but risky as it's slow for the maximum level charging; can be used to poke at an opponent's guard.
      • Crushing Knee Strike (↓ + M - Hold, M): When holding the Medium Input during the maximum level of Surprise Knee Strike and pressing on the Medium Input again, Edona's knee strike will also "catch the opponent" and drive both of them into the ground, with Edona keeping his knee on his opponent's chest to land atop of them for additional damage. Crushing Knee Strike can also catch opponents in mid-air if perfectly timed.
        • ✧Violent Battering✧: Immediately after landing on his opponent's torso with his knee, should the player mashes other inputs then Edona will strike his opponent several times before leaping off them or getting pushed away by them. The inputs pressed varies in speed, damage and recovery: Light Input allows Edona to strike and recover the fastest but has low damage aiming at the face, Medium Input is for slightly more damaging attacks aiming at the torso and Heavy Input for the slamming attacks with his limbs, slow but powerful and accumulate crumpling property.
  • Cleaving Elbow (↙ + M): Edona raises his rear arm and violently rams his elbow downward in an overhead strike while dropping to one knee, inducing moderate crumpling status. The blow forces his opponent down in a forth leaning stance, almost similar to crouching. When using his dark boost, the attack will induce greater crumpling to his opponent and most combos will knock them onto the ground.
    • Piercing Teeth (↙ + M, M): Follows with another strong elbow strike from his other hand, this time aimed at the face and in a slight upward angle while performing a similar motion to a hook punch. Staggers heavily on impact due to the previous hit's crumpling inducing effect, therefore making the opponent stumble backward without losing their balance. Deals strong chip damage if both elbows lands on a guard but unsafe on block.
    • ✧Jaguar Palm✧ (↙ + M - Close): If close enough to his opponent, Edona will leans downward in a slight crouching stance and deliver a fast palm strike with his front hand, sending his opponent staggered and stumble a few steps backward. The move has a slow start-up as Edona crouches slightly before winding up his palm strike but does a good amount of push back against guarding opponents.
  • Thrusting Fist (← + M): Pull his front hand backward for a small moment and delivers a powerful thrusting punch while dashing forward, staggering his opponent slightly. On counter, it heavily crumples an opponent and makes them fall face first. A slow attack, yet delivers great damage and suitable for combo finishers. Induces a wall bump property if the opponent is being knock against an object.
  • Tiger Spear Kick (↖ + M): Pressing the Medium Input while diagonally aiming the joystick upward, Edona will perform a high kick to the face with his rear leg. The kick staggers the opponent moderately but if used during certain combos, it can greatly crumple and even knock down enemies. Excellent against airborne opponents, granting Edona an anti-air tool to knock them away. If the kick is landing late, it deals less damage but has more recovery safety.
    • Spinning Sobat Kicks (↖ + M - Hold): Executing the same inputs whilst holding the Medium Input will make Edon twirl on himself quickly and deliver a fast spin kick to the midsection and follow with a straight thrust kick at the same location. Pushes slightly the enemy away and useful for combo starters, if used as a combo ender the second kick will knock away the opponent.
  • Forth Dash Attack (↠ + M) - Buffalo Smash: Whilst dashing, Edona performs a fast downward punch followed with a shoulder bash at the opponent's face and chest, dealing 2-hits if perfectly landed. The move is excellent as a follow-up attack if sending the opponent away and is also a good starting combo tool. However, the animation is somewhat predictable because of the swing. If the punch misses, the shoulder bash works as a late hit can prevent opponents attempting to take advantage of the whiffing attack.
  • Back Dash Attack - Snapping Alligator (↞ + M):

Strong Attacks

  • Gut Impaling Fist (H-Input): Also known as the "Carving Punch", which is one of Edona's signature attacks. It consist of a short-ranged yet piercing uppercut with the front hand while stepping forward slightly and aimed to the opponent's guts. On impact, the move causes the target to slightly stumble to the side but if used during the middle of combos it will instead lift slightly the target off the ground and stumble a bit backward while clutching their stomach.
  • Hopping Toe Kick (↑ + H): Hops on place while doing a powerful kick with his rear leg, the tip of his foot striking the opponent's chin and launching them upward. A fast attack but with slow recovery on whiff or block, the kick can help to start juggling combos or to expand combos when the opponent is a juggled state. Depending on how tall and big the opponent's body, the kick can strike large crouching opponents but will miss against smaller foes.
    • Double Hopping Kicks (↑ + H, H): Follows with his other leg to kick his opponent to further send them upward in the air, inflicting more damage and creating better combo juggling potential. While the first kick was already slow, this version has slower ending lag which leaves Edona vulnerable. Using both kicks against a guarding opponent deals heavy chip damage and stagger their defensive stance.
  • Upper-Fist (↗ + H): Performs an uppercut with his rear hand, with moderate damage and knockback but enough for Edona to follow up with other attacks. While slightly short-ranged, it is more useful for closer infighting and more useful against bigger opponents. Can be used as a juggling tool for airborne combos. During his Dark Aura power up, the move will become Dark Upper and will instead make his opponent remain on his fist for a short while and can perform throws.
  • Strong Fang (→ + H): Executed by pressing forward and the Heavy Input, Edona steps forward and performs a powerful downward elbow strike, which works as an overhead attack that cannot be blocked while crouching and deals heavy crumpling state on impact. If no further inputs are being pressed, Edona will rub his elbow's tip while flexing his arm in a taunting way. Like all overhead attacks, the move's main purpose is to break through the defenses of an opponent who insists on crouch guarding. While the move's animation is quite slow, it is very rewarding as it crumples the opponent for a moment thus allowing Edona to perform further combos. Airborne opponents will be slammed down and entering in a bouncing state if struck though the range of the attack is short which is a big risk. Using the Strong Fang in the end of a combo will grant a bouncing state.
    • Crunching Fang (→ + H - Hold): By holding the Heavy Input, Edona will perform a slightly different animation and this time, it's a downward hooking punch following with his elbow strike, resulting into two consecutive hits. During the animation, Edona also kneels on his front leg to go lower while striking, thus hitting the head and torso of his opponent. When charging for the attack, Edona is granted an armored state during the time he is about to swing his entire arm, thus he can absorb one attack without flinching. Likewise, airborne opponents will also enter a bouncing state but slightly less because of the two hits, making it less rewarding for follow-ups.
    • Deceiving Fang (→ + H - Hold + Dodge): Pressing on the Dodge Input whilst holding the Heavy Input will make Edona instead dodge. This is useful when baiting the opponent to attack Edona while he charges his elbow strike, only to miss their attack and get countered by the Jaguar Slayer.
  • Eagle Rocket Kick (↘ + H):
  • Leopard's Upward Fang (↓ + H):
  • Monkey's Cross (↙ + H):
    • Warhammer Punch (↙ + H - Hold): Delivers a powerful thrusting straight fist with his rear hand whilst slightly stepping forth, knocking his opponent far away from him.
  • Tornado Back Fist (← + H): Pressing the Heavy Input while holding the joystick forth will make Edona spin on himself and deliver a strong back fist at the end of his spin. Among all his Heavy attacks, the Tornado Back Fist boasts of the fastest execution speed but unsafe on block due to the animation's end lag. It has good range and comes only a bit shorter than his kicking moves. On impact, the opponent heavily staggers and receive crumpling damage.
  • Crocodile's Sweeping Tail (↖ + H):
  • Forth Dash Attack - Somersault Jaguar (↠ + H): Whilst dashing, Edona performs a spinning kick to the opponent while landing on his back, knocking his foe on impact. While impractical seemingly because of how slow and predictable the swinging motion of his attack, the kick's impact pushes far back against a blocking opponent, giving Edona safety distance while having chipped damage heavily against his opponent.
  • Back Dash Attack - Elephant's Trunk Smash (↞ + H): During his back dash, Edona performs a strong crescent kick to the opponent's head, sending them hurled to the ground.

Airborne Attacks

Heavy Finishes

  • Tiger's Heavy Fang (S-Input): Pressing the Special Input without any direction, Edona reels his body back for a moment and charges into a giant step forward, delivering a heavy elbow strike to send his opponent flying backward.
    • Airborne (S-Input):
  • Super Upper-Fist (↑ + S):
    • Airborne (↑ + S):
  • Thrust Smash (→ + S):
    • Airborne (→ + S):
  • Lethal Hammer Foot (↓ + S):
    • Airborne (↓ + S):
  • (← + S):
    • Airborne (← + S):

Unique Combos

Light Combos

  • Brawling Attacks (L + L, ← + M):
    • Rampage Raid (L + L, M + H):
  • Jab to Low Kick (L, ↙ + L): Edona performs a quick jab at his opponent's face and follows with a low kick to the ankle. Quick to deliver, excellent for poking and chipping against guards. One of the many basic combos he learned in martial arts.
    • Low Hits (L, ↙ + L , L): Follows with another low kick to his opponent's leg, making them stumble backward. Has high potential for follow-up combos.
    • Striking Shots (L, ↙ + L, M): Ends with his Javelin Kick instead of the second low kick to the ankle.
  • Fast Jaguar (L, ↗ + L): Edona performs a front jab and followed with his Front High Kick to the face before hopping backwards out of range. This combo is useful at poking guards or keeping enemies at bay but it's primary function is to open the path for more longer combos (listed below).
    • Jaguar Striker (L, ↗ + L, ↗ + M, H, ↙ + L): Follows with a quick uppercut with his front hand, followed with his powerful Gut Impaling Fist and finishes with Fast Low Kick. The mixing of Light, Medium and Heavy inputs can make it difficult for new players, the combo will only trigger if pressing the inputs very fast. One of Edona's winning strategies during fighting matches as it's a barrage of different angles and lands on various regions on his opponent's body, mostly to confuse them even some hits don't land.
      • Violent Storm (L, ↗ + L, ↗ + M, H, ↘ + M): Instead of finishing with Fast Low Kick, Edona uses Tiger Cleaving Kick from his rear leg to knock his opponent down. While Tiger Cleaving Kick can only be done by holding the inputs, it's no longer necessary during combos.
      • King of Fighters:
      • King of Combat:
      • Strike Master:
  • Jaguar 1-2 (L , ← + M): Pressing the Light Input followed with the Medium Input (while angling backward) will make Edona a classic one-two combo, a jab followed with a cross. Excellent to poke an enemy's guard while dealing slight chip damage and if timed well, can be spammed in an efficient way. One of Edona's most versatile combos, which opens the path for further extensions for his aggressive fighting style.
    • Raiding Hits (L , ← + M, ↗ + L - Hold): Performs his Jaguar 1-2 and follows with Double Edged. The combo is very fast and does a good amount of chip damage against guards.
      • Street Fighter (L , ← + M, ↗ + L - Hold, M):
    • Fast Striker (L , ← + M, → + L): Does his classic jab-straight combo and follows with his Hawk Kick Thrust.
    • Jaguar 1-2-Low (L , ← + M, ↙ + L):
    • Jaguar 1-2-3 (L , ← + M, M):
    • Assassin's Assault (L , ← + M, H):
    • Atomic Combo (L , ← + M, ↗ + H, ↘ + L - Hold):
    • Spinning Jaguar (L , ← + M, ← + H):
    • Gleaming Fangs (L , ← + M, ↙ + H):
    • Hawk Rush (L , ← + M, ↗ + M): A one-two combo followed with an axe kick, forcing the opponent to bend down forward from the accumulation of damage and the axe kick's impact. Airborne opponents would bounce onto the ground if hit by the axe kick.
      • Hawk To Elephant Barrage (L , ← + M, ↗ + M, M): A one-two combo followed with an axe kick, then a second axe kick that triggers a bouncing state on the opponent. Deals heavy damage in total and while the opponent is knocked on the ground by the last axe kick, Edona can still continue more combos with the right tools and techniques.
        • Hawk To Elephant Assault (L , ← + M, ↗ + M, ↑ + H): Instead of finishing with his second axe kick, Edona uses his Hopping Toe Kick to send his opponent hurling away. The last strike deals slightly more damage than the previous incarnation and is meant as a combo ender.
          • Hawk & Tiger (L , ← + M, ↘ + L): An alternative way which a knee strike follows the one-two combo. Meant for juggling combos and useful in early combo paths. Can be used as a poking combo tool against an opponent's guard but relying on it is not a good way because of the knee thrust's animation being long.
            • Hawk To Serpent (L , ← + M, ↘ + L, ↖ + H): Ends with with the powerful Crocodile's Sweeping Tail, the kick sends the opponent soaring in mid-air until they crash down on the ground. The last kick has a different animation for this combo and became a spinning kick instead.
  • Jaguar to Tiger (L, → + H): Edona first uses his Jaguar Jab and follows with his Strong Fang, using the same arm during the whole combo and makes the opponent stumble backward from the hits. Can be used for chipping the opponent's guard, though the Strong Fang's ending lag animations is rather slow; it can be protected by performing quicker attacks that can follow the Strong Fang. • Glittering Talons (M + M, ↖ + H): Edona first uses his Javelin Strikes and when the Heavy Input is pressed, he will deliver his Crocodile Sweeping Tail in which is a roundhouse kick slamming into the opponent's face, sending them tumbling to the ground. It is an efficient combination that knocks the opponent back at great distance, making it a solid option to send the foe into a corner of the arena for further attack pressuring. Rush Attacks

Signature Techniques

Normal Version

  • Jaguar Dash (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → - Holding for distance): Performed with a semi-circular motion with the joystick, Edona will rush toward his opponent by running fast and even will use his hands and digits to claw himself into the ground, for further propelling speed. In the air, Edona will perform a straight aerial dash at high speed, similar to a bullet's trajectory. The distance of his Jaguar Dash depends on how long the player hold the last directional input: the longer the player holds, the farther Edona rushes/flies (the limit being several dozens of meter long).
    • Jaguar Dash Stop ←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + Blocking): Doing the command inputs will make Edona stop suddenly his dash, acting as an "emergency stop".
    • Jaguar Fang (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + L): His deadly signature technique, the Jaguar Fang, an elbow strike aimed at the head while dashing for further damage.
    • Elephant Fist Smash (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + M):
    • Jaguar Smash (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + H):
    • Phantom Fist (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + S):
    • Low Spinning Foot (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + ↙ + L):
      • Somersault Slashing Edge (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + ↙ + L, M):
      • Fatal Furious (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + ↙ + L , H):
      • Hawk Talon Strike (←, ↙, ↓, ↘, → + ↙ + L - Hold): Whilst dashing, Edona performs a powerful swinging kick aimed at the opponent's midsection and knocks them far away. The kick has high knockback and damage, yet slow recovery. On impact, he laughs loudly and insults his downed foe but will curse if the attack either gets blocked or dodged. Of all his Strong attacks, Hawk Talon Strike ranks among the most damage dealing moves.
  • Swaying Jaguar (↓, ↙, ↔, ↓):
  • Lightning Jaguar Foot (↔ + Attack Input): A fast leaping kick, leaving a trail of fluid energy along in it's distance and can also add additional attacks if the player presses the respective attack input again. Depending on which attack button is pressed, the damage and distance differs. The kick usually heads to the head, though may hit the torso if said adversary is too tall (regardless of the height, any characters gets knocked on the ground). By pressing the Blocking Input, Edona can cancel the move without delivering any kicks.
    • Lightning Jaguar Foot/Light 1 (↔ + L): Light version performs a high leaping front push kick, slamming away the opponent if struck on contact. Travels a short distance while Edona's foot glows with ki and leaves a small trail of energy. Useful for following airborne and juggling combos.
      • Lightning Jaguar Foot/Light 2 (↔ + L + L): Follows with a roundhouse kick from his rear leg while still airborne from the first kick for additional damage, further sending the opponent away and travels slightly farther than the first version. Does moderate pushback but heavy chipping damage against blocking opponents.
        • Lightning Jaguar Foot/Medium (↔ + M): The Medium version is similar but travels farther and faster, similar to the Light 2 version but ends with an axe kick that heavily crumples the opponent without making them fall. On counter, the axe kick sends the opponent to the ground in a bouncing state. The third kick will not occur if the two first kicks are being dodged or blocked by the opponent.
          • Lightning Jaguar Foot/Heavy (↔ + H): Similar to Light 2 but continues with two additional spinning kicks, knocking away the opponent and deals even more damage. Again, the second hit will not occur when the first hit misses or blocked by the opponent and the two last kicks will not occur if they're blocked but will happen if missing.
  • Buffalo Upper (→, ↓, ↘ + Attack Input): Pressing forward, down and down-forward directions with an attack input altogether will result Edona dash forth and perform a powerful lunching uppercut with his left hand, sending his opponent flying.

Enhanced Version

  • Swaying Emperor
  • Thunder Jaguar Kicks (↔ + L/M/H + Energy Input): The enhanced version mixes all the aforementioned variants in the following order: Edona does his classic Lightning Jaguar Foot in it's Light versions (Light 1 and Light 2), then follows with the Medium version (the axe kick) and finally, the Heavy version (the two additional kicks), dealing a tremendous amount of damage, knockback, crumpling and heavy chip damage against blocking opponents. Even if blocked, it does heavy pushback on guard which makes Edona in a safe position. Thunder Jaguar Kicks can also be a combo beginner or combo ender depending on the situation for Edona, making it a versatile technique with many potential.
