This form was created when Mother Earth gave her power to Goku to fuel the ultimate Spirit Bomb. When he absorbed it, it was a permanent power that he could not remove. Now Goku can control Earth and its landforms. This power would be very useful later in the series. He shoots boulders from his hands.
