When we 1st see Gem. She was just 7 years, but she was only peagsai to start with but she looked simialr ot a human however. We see her origins as seeing she came from a really poor family. With only her mother by her side while we have no idea her mother is.
Dragon Ball Saga *UNFINISHED*[]
We start to see Gem as a Pegsai 7 year old child. But it was diffucult for her pegsai mother, Mystery to hide her from her soon to be namekian boyfriend Piccolo Jr. Months later, Mystery was off focus with the love the she shares with Gem. While leaving her daughter unguarded Piccolo kidnapped her. When Mystery realised this, she got concerned and rushed over to the forest and investigate. Meanwhile, Piccolo Jr appeared at the Red Ribbon Base and placed Gem inside a circular tube and Dr Gero began to mutate her. Mystery had no hope of finding her daughter in forest.
Hours later, the circluar tube began to open. What Piccolo realised, that her skin began to turn green and her ears are more pointy than usual. But she wanted her mama most, so she started to wail.
When Destiny herd some wailing from her child, she flew to right excat location of where it was herd. That's when Destiny barged into the room. She gasped at the half peagasi, half mutanted namekian and she kicked Piccolo Jr to hold the child. But what she also noticed is that Piccolo betrayed her by turning the villagers againsit her to think that she was a witch trying to curse the village. Then Destiny ran with her 7 year old girl, until she reached a bridge. That's when the villagers beat Destiny and made her lose grip of Gem, then Gem fell into a river.
Gem was knocked out by the drop however and Piccolo carried Gem while she was uncoiusos. But Destiny tried to find Gem, but when she found her it was already to late. Since she didn't want anymore violence from the villagers, she decided to stay hidden as Gem sensed her mother but Gem didn't believed the false facts about the mother and cried silently as Destiny did.
