Once Gohan achieved Mystic form, he had the experience to become gray dragon powered. Curious of this state, Gohan ordered the Kais to take him to where he could achieve such power. He touched a gray rock with a black dragon on it, and power swelled into him. This gave his power such a high jump, he decided to kill Ultimate Cell on his own.
