Gubo is a deceased character mentioned in Ruben, the Father of Goku Jr.. Gubo is a human who was the husband of Pan and father of Ruben, before he died at age 66, 2 years before his grandson Goku Jr. was born of a heart illness, leaving Pan a widow.
Not much is known about him except that he was a normal human but did have some fighting skills, and Pan says in a story that she and he met at a World Martial Arts Tournament in their younger days; considering he is a fighter himself.
