Kikazaru ( 聞かざる, lit. "Hear no Evil") or sometimes referred to as Eclipsed Apes is a variant of Oozaru that branched out within the Kabocha Bloodline, a transformation that allows the user to evolve even further. A form exclusive to the Eclipsed Saiyans, this form increases the users power 10 times over, making their already frightening strength even more immense.

Conditions for Transformation[]
Similar to Modern Saiyans, Eclipsed Saiyans require their tail to initiate the form, however, it's a bit more complicated than that. Due to high levels of Blutz Waves Radiation in their environment the Eclipsed Saiyans began to evolve to better utilize that excess energy. This evolution resulted in the genes responsible for Oozaru to mutate, forming into what's commonly referred to as Kikazaru. As a result of this mutation, the Eclipsed Saiyans also developed a secondary tail but that isn't required for this form, but rather, its evolution.
In truth, the only tail need for Kikazaru is the first, the Tail of Absorption, as it possesses the special glands needed to trigger the transformation. Once the Blutz Waves are absorbed the glands convert this into specialized Ki for the Saiyan, a form of Ki known as Primal Ki. In short, Primal Ki is the source of this forms great power, without it the transformation will not activate. Additionally, the Eclipsed Saiyan must bear witness to a full moon as this event is the catalyst to the form, the trigger to allow the Saiyans body to begin absorbing the Blutz Waves around them. While any form of celestial body can be used in the moon's place, only one that full reflects its stars light can trigger the form properly.
Unlike other Saiyans, an Eclipsed Saiyans' body can tell the difference between a true and a fake moon. Meaning that technology like holograms are incapable of triggering the form in any capacity. Despite this they've developed a technique needed to trigger their unique transformations another way.
In the case of the moon or other celestial body being destroyed the Eclipsed Saiyan won't revert back to their base. This is because the moon in only the trigger rather than the source of the forms power. Even in the case of a Saiyan entering an area with no Blutz Waves whatsoever, they'll remain unaffected as the Saiyan has already absorbed the needed energy to activate the form. However, once dropping out of the form the Saiyan won't be able to transform again until they're in an area rich with Blutz Wave Radiation.
As for the dismembering of their tails, this will result in them losing access to the form as the energy absorbed will begin rapidly expelling from the wound. This fact remains unchanged for all evolutions derived from Kikazaru.
Characteristics[]
Similar to the original Oozaru, with the exception of the Legendary Variant, this form multiplies the users power level by ten times. Their speed, however, typically only increases five times, making the form more reliant on brute force than quick paced attacks. Yet, there are exception to this as some have shown an increase in speed equal to their boost in power and others who don't seem to increase in speed at all compared to their base. This difference is thought to be based on the Saiyans physique prior to their metamorphosis, the leaner they are the more qualized their abilities become.
Since Eclipsed Saiyans are so reliant on their tails there has never been a point where it won't regenerate after being dismembered as opposed to most other branches of Saiyans who seem to lose the ability to regrow their tails after reaching a certain level of strength.
The fur of an Eclipsed Saiyan when transformed is a deep obsidian, but this hasn't always been the case. Originally the first users of the form possessed orange fur, a trait that is still present in the Legendary Variant of Kikazaru. Their eyes, similar to the Oozaru, are a radiant red, leaving no way to discern where their pupils lie. Their ears elongate backwards and ending in a point, a feature that grants them greater hearing. When used by the Eclipsed Legend, the Saiyan's skin will take on an orange hue, a trail that is believed to effects the melonen of even their hair.
Kikazaru is an incredibly rampant and rageful form, most not being able to differentiate friend from foe once transformed and attacking anything and anyone in the vicinity. Despite the lack of self-awareness, as these Saiyans mature, they can learn how to rein in their instincts and retain normal cognitive functions as Eclipsed Apes. Once consciousness is reestablished the Saiyan undergoes another metamorphosis as they evolve into the form known as Iwazaru, and in the case of the Eclipsed Legend, Shizaru. This has been displayed countless times over the generations as some who have harnessed Iwazaru have even learned to go even further beyond, evolving into the Ascended and Transcended states of Iwazaru. The speed at which one regains consciousness varies from individual to individual but it's commonly accepted that one's blood line heavily affects' their grow as warriors.
Saiyans in Kikazaru can still manipulate their energy for feats like flight and shooting Ki Attacks, most preferably from their mouth.
Similar to their boost in power their height increases tenfold, making an average seven foot tall Saiyan a staggering seventy feet. Because of this the Eclipsed Saiyans, with the help of the Superior Saiyans, constructed a light weight material that's able to withstand the sudden change in size. Without this special material the Saiyan would undoubtedly be stark naked when they revert back to their base form. Since this form utilized Primal Ki rather than the Saiyans innate reserves of energy the Saiyan can still battle at their bases previous power level after dropping out of Kikazaru.
Techniques and Special Abilities[]
When transformed their tails become their most resilient appendage as opposed to the Oozaru as that form is still weakened when firmly grasped. The speed at which the Saiyan can accumulate their Ki is greatly enhanced, being able to charge and fire a Ki blast far faster than one would assume with their size, however, it's exactly because of their size that they're able to quickly achieve this feat. In the case of the Royal Family, they're able to regain control of their Kikazaru transformation incredibly fast, almost as if it were second nature to them.
Once transformed the Saiyan gains the ability to release flames from their mouths, a trait that carries over even after returning to their base. While this ability is all that powerful, it does serves as a good distraction.

- True Kikazaru - The original Kikazaru form taken by the very first Eclipsed Saiyans. This distinct variation is the result of living in an environment with an incredible amount of Blutz Wave Radiation. This form possesses orange fur and is known to be quite difficult to handle, even by Kikazaru's standards. This form starts the user with an immediate jump to ten times their original power but due to unstable Z-Glands they continue to produce more and more Ki the longer they're exposed to Blutz Waves. In the current day, only Eclipsed Legends can achieve this form.
- Shizaru - The original and unrestrained variant of Iwazaru. A harnessed form that endlessly increases the users power endlessly when remaining transformed.
