Seleno, sometimes nicknamed as "Zeleno", is a former elite Namekian warrior who resides within Universe 6, as well a former student of Saonel and Pilina prior to defecting from planet Namek. Plagued by a curse ever since born, in which gives him a grotesque and eerie appearance, Seleno was mostly seen as a cast away from his peers; which was one of the main reasons to fled away from his homeworld. He grew up on his own for most of his life and took many kinds of jobs across the universe in order to survive.
He became a reputed troublemaker in certain regions in the universe as a bounty hunter and went notorious for causing troubles against his opponents but none managed to catch him as he was able to seemingly disappear: he was given the nickname "The Phantom of Namek" because of his artful escapes but mostly due to his pale appearance. Back on his homeworld, he was also known as "The Lunar Warrior" since Universe 6's Namek has a very pale and small moon.

Origins[]
Prelude[]
Prior to his birth, planet Namek from Universe 6 was raided by a group from the Demon race, in which the Namekian warriors defended their homeworld and they managed to repel the invasion with success. One of the demons, apparently skilled in dark magic, plagued the entire planet with a curse: among the next generation of Namekians, one of them will become vile in the future and will doom the entire race. Pilina claimed he took part of defending his village against the hordes when he was younger, witnessing most of his peers heavily injured from dark sorcery during the battle.
"My fellow peers, please do not falter from that fiend's vile speech: either be it genuine or not, I will take full responsability for the youngling's birth and I suggest we will welcome it as our own! I will not tolerate the idea of killing the youngling in such arbitrary thoughts and I believe every beings in the universe can have a second chance!" |
Most Namekians were worried while some scoffed at the sight of the demon's "futile performance" but the village's elder remained calm and told his peers to not be afraid of the curse, claiming he would take care of the upcoming cursed Namekian, believing there is a way to remove the curse without having to kill one of their own kind. Spyel was skeptical at the elder's idea on saving a possibly corrupted creature, as he fears the nature of the Demon race is too powerful to be changed.
Odd Discovery[]
Several generations later, a group of senior Namekians found an odd-looking egg nearby a hill, completely unguarded and without anyone to protect it. The egg's appearance was reminiscent to those from the Namekian race although it has a slight reddish color with purple dots across the surface, with small tendrils on the shell. The seniors were hesitant at first and prefered to leave it but one of them insisted to bring the mysterious egg to their elder's decision. The group carried the egg, which was suprisingly heavy and possibly quite dense from the inside. The seniors all agreed upon one thing: the egg's odor is awfully stomach-churning to the point one of them nearly lost his consciousness, they even found a group of small creatures passing out just from the smell.
"Elder, the egg was laying on the grass as if someone forgot or intentionally placed it there! It appears the egg has been there for quite some times, as you can see the shell can tell how old it is and I suspect at least 8 months old. It also has an odd smell, repulsive quite I must say. No one was there when we saw the egg, it's as if it "appeared" from nothing..." |
Upon seeing the egg, the elder was frightened at the physical aspect of the egg and the memories of the daemonic mage's warning from decades ago resurfaced back. The elder did believed getting rid of the egg would be possibly better but he remember how he wanted to remove the curse from a possible innocent youngling and decided to choose the second option, giving a small chance for the newborn to live and be accepted. The elder also request for the egg being watched by highly skilled Namekian warriors intensely, in case the egg itself starts to hatch and reveal a powerful and dangerous creature. The building where the egg remained was specially constructed in case things goes south, with a few senior members with magic abilities on their guard to hold on the egg and taking care of it. Pilina recalls there was at least a dozen of Namekian warriors, among them were the planet's strongest members. The egg remained watched under high surveillance for several months, with the entire population on the planet worrying of what is the creature within the egg and how will it behave.
Plagued At Birth[]
As soon the newborn was hatched, the seniors ran to the warriors and reported the egg's status (waking up a few of them, who fall asleep due to not sleeping for weeks), with the warriors flying to the elder's residence and reported to their leader the newly announced information. The elder and various members ran at the building, in which they closely watch the egg hatching on it's own pace. After removing some pieces of the shell, they noticed the egg had several layers and each layer are quite thick but enough to resist blunt impacts. Namekian warrior Zailo'fonn believed the egg could withstand impacts from small explosions or a strong series of punches and kicks.

The youngling started to flail their tiny, chubby limbs as a way to remove the shell on themselves, while emitting small noises. Some senior members aid the young newborn to remove the heavy shell pieces left. The newborn looked around him, with it's bright purple-yellow eyes and stared without any emotions toward the Namekians, with some being frightened and disgusted by his "hideous appearance", in which prompted a few Namekian warriors willing to kill the newborn because of how much of an "abomination" and possible menace to the village but the elder remained on his words and ordered everyone to calm down and leave the newborn alive. He also added everyone should accept the youngling as a member of the village and carefully teach him the right things to do, though some kept protesting against the elder's decisions.
The elder decided to give the youngling a name but couldn't find one and asked to his peers on what would be the name of the newborn. Some warriors and seniors tend to mock the newborn by proposing ridiculous and insulting names but Spyel proposed to the elder the name "Seleno"; which meant "Like us/Indifferent" in Namekian language. The elder gladly accepted and celebrated Seleno's birth by making rituals for the young child, yet no one was unaware Seleno's name was actually had a double meaning: his name also meant "Sole with Oneself".

During his days on Namek, Seleno would often make himself some Kichu.
Little Seleno learned how to walk on his four limbs slightly earlier than the average Namekian, then walked on his two feet only at 6 months old and was already running and jumping high after being more than a year old. The seniors who took care of him were impressed of Seleno's prowess in his growth, while some kept admonishing his existence and should be banned from the village at once. Spyel, Pilina and Saonel were mostly the ones who contributed for Seleno's learning sessions of Namekian culture and martial arts training. Although mostly joyous at time and more energetic than most Namekians, Seleno had a noticeable will of curiosity and wanted to explore the universe on his own, refusing to stay on Namek and disliked the idea to become a guardian/warrior. Those rebellious phases only grew as time went by, the elder was wondering if the child was just like the demon's warning told.
By the age of 3, Seleno was strong enough to defeat three Namekian warriors and later one elite Namekian warrior. His growth was noticed by everyone but those who rejected him ignore his prowess and claimed he is not gifted or talented, simply "good". Saonel mostly slams those mocking attitudes from the ignorant peers and kept focusing on teaching Seleno. Unfortunately, Seleno slowly developed a more imposing behavior during his fourth year, he was brawling with other Namekians of his age and severely beat them. Spyel went to stop the fight and asked why Seleno is doing this, only for the latter answering his comrades were mocking his appearance. This was also at this age Seleno noticed some members of the village despise him and his growth.
"That "thing" grows much faster than we initially expected, even faster than the average of our species! And ever since he started to eat living beings and structures, if we do not do something, we might be his very next meal! By the Dragons, I pray the elder finally start to decide to kick him out of our homeworld!" |
In his 4th and 5th years, Seleno finally learned how to use his energy to levitate and soar into the sky and reach the clouds. He struggled to control his ki, which resulted him to collide into the village's houses and destroyed the residences. Most of the residents were unhappy of Seleno's clumsiness. Zailo'fonn explained to Seleno he needs to be focused mentally to stabilize his energy which important for every techniques he will learn in his life and taught to Seleno how to use Zen Mode, a technique that allows the user to harness their radiating aura inside themselves to prevent energy leaking and thus achieve a greater power level, conserves stamina much better and improves their fighting efficacy. As soon he entered his fifth year, Seleno develop an unusual hunger and started to eat anything, be it structures like wood or stones and even fishes. Zailo'fonn asked why he was eating pebbles and wooden bark, in which Seleno stated he was hungry and might eat much more. The elder show concerns for Seleno's voracious appetite but was even more surprised when Seleno started to hunt the planet's Sea Serpents, eating them raw while they were alive which made the elder realize Seleno is mentally out of control and require stricter mental control: he was more surveilled by elite warriors and had a diet of a few herbs and water in order for him to contrl his appetite.
Teenage Years[]
Seleno entered into more fights as he grew up, mostly against those who despised him and called him a "reject" of the village, either using physical violence or verbal insults to counterstrike them. Saonel and Pilina disapproved of Seleno's behavior, trying to calm him down and explaining what he does is not good but Seleno claims he will never know anything good since all his life was being despised. Saonel believes Seleno was already showing signs of despair at such early age. Seleno only trusts a few people on Namek, which is Saonel, Pilina, Spyel, Bryda, Zailo'fonn, the village's elder and a few Namekian warriors and seniors.
As he became older, Seleno's wanted to explore the deeper cosmos rather than staying on Namek as a guardian and claims there is nothing he can learn as long he remains stagnating by doing nothing exciting. Spyel tries to reason with him, convincing it's a great role to become a guardian and perhaps an elite warrior for the planet but Seleno cuts him short by claiming his feelings and future are more important than remaining on Namek. Spyel asked Seleno if the reason why he wishes to leave was because of getting rejected by most Namekians, in which Seleno replies with "possibly". The next day, Seleno made it clear to Spyel he isn't looking to train as a guardian but for much more, something exciting rather than being "stationary and guard something".
Confrontations[]
Seleno would often get into verbal fights and physical, violent confrontations against other Namekians because they're mocking his appearance. The elder has little to no control on forcing the community to respect and appreciate Seleno's prowess but it seems to no avail. Spyel explain to the elder about Seleno reaching near the limit of his patience, which worried the leader and wouldn't want Seleno to enter in a devastating anger. One day, Bryda and Zailo'fonn confronted Seleno for his rude behavior against Mamora and Lamys (Seleno challenged the pair in a short game of wits, in which he won and insulted the two elite warriors), the young pale Namekian ignored them and proceeds to walk away, claiming he did nothing wrong since Mamora and Lamys always pissed him off to begin with. Zailo'fonn berated Seleno for arrogant attitude against other warriors, in which the pale youngling defended himself by lashing out by claiming Zailo'fonn or Bryda do nothing but using "useless peaceful methods" that never works and only gets worse the more he tries to be peaceful to anyone. Zailo'fonn's argument was Seleno lacked patience and determination for the methods to work but Seleno counter-argued by claiming the rising hate against him is due to his appearance and the old tale of the curse; which is a great factor to contribute on Seleno receiving negativity.
Bryda, who remained silent for the first minutes, break between the two by sharing his opinion on the situation: he admits Zailo'fonn's methods of non-violence and to ignore the insults are not enough as Seleno gets always despised. Bryda explained to Zailo'fonn how Seleno cannot change his own appearance nor can he convince most of the Namekian population the curse is "not real". Bryda turns to Seleno, telling he should never lose to anger and to fight physically and it is best for the elder to solve the problem; although Seleno replies the elder cannot convince every Namekians to accept who he is and he will answer with rage if he have to, since rage was the emotion he felt the most and he is tired of using words. Seleno claims actions speaks much louder than mere words and told Bryda he should probably start to revise his own doctrine of peace along with Zailo'fonn, since their opinions about peaceful tactics is heavily flawed and brought nothing but hatred on Seleno. The pale Namekian stormed furiously away, while his mentors were living in an awkward silence and realize Seleno's points weren't wrong. Hiding in the darkness, Mamora and his peers started to think of something vile once more and plan to really get Seleno outside Planet Namek for once and for all.
"You know Zailo'fonn? I think it's time for you to learn the truth: if those "so-called methods of peace" really works then how come I always have to get constantly despised even when I am doing NOTHING!?! How long will you realize none of your methods ever worked to begin with! You saw it ever since I was born! I get constantly hated by everyone and even when I am doing nothing! You know it so why you keep telling me to "stay kind and peaceful" against the rising, constant aggression toward me?! Do you expect me to stay a "good little young warrior" with a zen attitude?!! If they ever worked, then tell me why I am still despised by EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET!!! Perhaps they're not made for the type that I am, so you better find something else useful or otherwise I'll really leave this craphole of a planet!" |
Rise To Elite Warrior[]
After completing his training for becoming a powerful warrior, the elder congratulated Seleno for becoming a talented and skilled martial artist and decided it was time for the appreciation he deserved for so long. The elder planned a small ceremony for the ascendancy of Seleno's warrior rank and welcomed everyone to join this event, although some were reluctant and disliked the white Namekian for various reasons. Prior to the event, the elder called Bryda, Saonel, Spyel and Zailo'fonn for a private meeting and decided to confess several thoughts he hold for himself far too long; which included his fear of Seleno being the curse for the planet getting real is "infecting his mind" and he is doing this ceremony out of pity for the pale Namekian, in order for everyone to finally respect or acknowledge Seleno being important. During his journey, he was hit by a field of reddish-brown asteroids and was forced to land at the nearby planet, Shiriaru. This was when he meet planet's local inhabitants, the Cerealians, who gave Seleno a warm welcome and offered him shelter for as long as he required to stay. Seleno learned all about their culture and was interested about the legends of Qu'el-Hôggz, a local known spirit the Cerealians highly praises. Seleno went to search the spirit for himself, going on a small journey to visit the spirit and learn of the knowledge from him.

Child (Baby, Toddler)[]
Seleno was usually a quiet child and barely communicate with the people of Namek, possible because he knew how most people were trying to ignore him or some were disgusted by his presence alone. Those who attempted to make connection with him were often ignored back, as a result of feeling mistreated and felt rejected. Spyel and Bryda were among the first who managed to befriend with Seleno, it took them between 2-3 years to convince Seleno they are friendly to him. The elder of the village noted Seleno's hesitation to make friends, which he told Bryda to watch the youngling if he notices anything unnatural.
Seleno started to be slightly more friendly toward Namekians and started small conversations with them. Pilina believes Seleno was either shy in his nature and his way of communication is more intrapersonal than interpersonal or possibly due to being socially repressed by most of the Namekian community, he was just trying to stay low.
Teenager[]
As he became older, Seleno's behavior drastically changed and was more rebellious compared than his younger years, he would lash out at the slightest insult or mockery and would sometimes engage into physical confrontations. When Spyel acted more of a big brother to him, Seleno admitted he was annoyed from the community rejecting him because of his natural appearance but mostly because of the prophecy casted by the demonic wizard decades ago. Seleno also told to Zailo'fonn he feels "something scary" inside of him is about to surge and believes his limit is on the verge of breaking. This frightened Spyel, who contacted the elders and seniors of the village about this unhinged information. The elder believes Seleno cannot express his emotions and his anger will take the better of him if he keeps receiving negativity from the village's folks.

Anatomical Physique[]
Seleno's appearance is similar of the average Namekian but with several unique traits: his skin is much pale compared to the rest of his kin which is a mix between tea and pastel greens (his limbs are mostly tea green colored while his body and head are pastel green shaded), with blue-colored and zig-zag lined patches on his body but oddly lacks the red conjoined rings around his wrists and ankles, instead possessing a thick black ring of flesh that replaces the usual three rings. Rather than having a pair of antennae, Seleno has two pairs on his forehead and another pair on his chin, though smaller than the rest. He also possess two tendrils starting near his nose and cheeks, hung down from his high cheekbones that resembles to a long mustache. His tendrils and antennae can retract into his body whenever he is fighting but can sometimes use them to cast energy-based attacks.
One of his most noticeable traits is his dual-colored eyes, which is a mix of bright purple and yellow (gradually becomes darker as he gets older). This trait was mostly used as an argument to cast aside or reject Seleno because his eyes are similar to some members of the Daemon race. During battles, his skin turns much paler and nearly white, which gave him the nicknames "The Phantom", "White Spectre" or "The Elusive Ghost". All those traits are the subject of mockery or used as an argument against Seleno is a "malevolent monstrosity".

Seleno's appearance as a baby greatly differ than how he looks currently: he lacked any patches like every Namekian newborns, his skin was incredibly pale greenish and most curiously, he lacked any tendrils or antennae. The color of his eyes was much brighter as a newborn and gradually became darker as he ages. Another odd trait when he was a newborn was the lack of a fifth finger and toe on his hands and feet, as he became older those appendices make their appearances around the age of 3 years old.

- Limb Creation: Seleno can create additional limbs all thanks to his unique physiology. He suspect his magic manipulation does contributes to this unique abilities.
- Autonomous "Namekian" Regeneration: Like all Namekians, Seleno proved to regenerate his limbs or wounds by using his ki. Unlike the average Namekian, Seleno can regenerate much faster and his regeneration is autonomous as if it was a defense mechanism (there were times when he can control and stop his regenerations, proving he still is conscious when healing himself). He also stated it doesn't cost a large amount of stamina, which is a common flaw among Namekians using regenerating abilities.
- Superior "Namekian" Regeneration:
- Size Alteration: Upon using his regenerative abilities to power up his entire nervous system, Seleno is capable of growing his size while retaining his speed. His height can reach a minimum of 16.5 ft to a maximum of 27 ft tall and his weight varies from his size.
- Muscle Mass Alteration: Seleno discovered he could simply enhance his muscle mass rather his entire size, which cost less stamina and much easier to perform. He requires to focus only into the nervous system of his skeletal structure and muscles, in which he gains greater physical strength and his speed remains the same. He was inspired when he saw Caulifla using her Super Saiyan - Third Grade technique and attempted to replicate it in his own way.

- Supernatural Condition:
- Advanced Body Elasticity: One of the most well-known traits of the Namekian race. They can stretch and contort their bodies at their own will, capable of growing the length of their limbs and twisting their torso without any problems. However, Seleno has proven to excel far greater than the rest of the Namekians and proved he was able to evolve his elasticity far longer than anyone on Namek. He also discovered newer abilities and techniques by infusing his magic into his body elasticity. He can use his elasticity to mix it in his martial art skills, by using feints and surprise attacks that gives the illusion he misses his attack but in reality Seleno purposely contorted his limb and strikes back in a different angle.
- Superior Hardened Body Structure: Namekians are known to have a harder anatomical constitution superior to other alien species and even rivals or at least superior than Saiyans and Friezians. While having Namekian DNA in his structure, Seleno's body is vastly superior to the average Namekian and has a few unique traits he possess while his peers lacks.
- Hardened Flesh: Like all Namekians, Seleno's skin is thicker and capable of protecting himself from extreme temperatures or most dangerous attacks deemed lethal to other species. Unlike other Namekians, his skin is harder to pierce and can enhance his flesh by using his ki to amplify his durability.
- Hardened Skeleton: His bones are harder to break than the rest of his peers and can enhance their toughness by staying in great shape, eating on a regular basis and using his energy to enhance them. By enhancing his bones, his strikes also becomes stronger as a result.

- "Namekian" Hearing: Like every Namekians, they possess enhanced hearing which allows them to localize hidden enemies or far-away opponents. This also helps them to react and defend (dodge or block) faster than other species since they can hear incoming attacks. Unlike Namekians, Seleno lacks the hyper-sensitivity caused from high-pitched noises and ear grating sounds, whistles cannot harm his eardrums as a result. He can also hear people talking from great distances such as between continents and possibly between planets, though more faintly.

- Biting: Seleno will not hesitate to bite into his enemies when in a pinch, as shown during his fight against Obruto when he bite the Namekian warrior's forearms and ripped a chunk of flesh to empower himself. He actually enjoys using biting, as it surprises the enemy due to the amount of pain inflicted from Seleno's jaw strength and as they're distracted, it gives an opportunity for the Phantom to strike back.
- Ground Slam: Seleno slams the ground with his palms, creating a strong shockwave on a fairly large radius that is capable of knocking away groups of opponents and enough powerful to break small houses. Seleno considers using the technique as a last trump card to avoid collateral damages and injuring bystanders.
- Multi-Slam: Strikes the ground with both palms many times on a rapid speed, as if he was playing conga/djembe/bongos. This creates various small quakes on a fast and rhythmic succession, enough to make his opponents lose their balance and fall.
- Earth Breaker: Rather than using his palms, Seleno punches the ground with his fists to break the ground. Unlike the Ground Slam, Earth Breaker shatters the ground and the shockwave is much more stronger, enough to break tall buildings if near him. The radius is also bigger, causing bystanders believing there's an actual tremor.
- Earth Breaker (Quadruple Arms): By striking the ground with his four fists simultaneously, Seleno can create a stronger tremor sending away his opponents with a powerful shockwave capable of shaking an entire small island (not enough to destroy it however). The impact of his four punches can leave a massive crater with an odd shape due to his four hands.
- Tremor Fists: By using his Namekian Gigantification to vastly increases his muscle mass, Seleno pounds the ground altogether with his super-strengthened four arms and creates a massive shockwave capable of shaking a tectonic plate. He rarely uses this technique, as it's devastating effects can break an entire megapolis easily.
- Earth Breaker (Quadruple Arms): By striking the ground with his four fists simultaneously, Seleno can create a stronger tremor sending away his opponents with a powerful shockwave capable of shaking an entire small island (not enough to destroy it however). The impact of his four punches can leave a massive crater with an odd shape due to his four hands.
- Fierce Dragon Attack: Learned the technique from Tien Shinhan when training under him. A high speed rushing attack consisting of various finger-tipped and knuckle strikes on several vital areas. Seleno strikes so fast, they appear to have "windmills" due to their arms going on a fast speed. The strikes are also aimed at important vital areas, making the technique greatly lethal.
- Phantom Rapid Volley: Learned the technique from Sky Dragon. A combination of very quick hand-based strikes, mostly punches and mixed with kicks, aimed at the face and body. Because of Seleno's speed is incredibly high, his arms gives the illusion they become "windmills". Unlike Fierce Dragon Attack, Phantom Rapid Volley mixes kicking techniques and doesn't seem to aim at vital regions of the opponent's body.
- Eight-Arm Blowing Strikes: Uses afterimages with only his arms, giving the illusions he has eight arms and allows him to strikes his enemies with "eight fists". Learned from King Chappa when Haytee-Turi presented him to Seleno. It is a very versatile techniques and can also enhances his defensive abilities, although he cannot block and has to parry only (because he requires high-speed movements to create "eight arms", when blocking his arms will remain stationary and thus dispels the illusion of the eight hands).
- Hækatonkeires: By combining the Eight Arm Fist, Quadruple Additional Arms, Fierce Dragon Attack and Phantom Rapid Volley techniques all together while at Full Power, Seleno can create a massive storm of endless strikes with his fists but he also uses palm strikes, kicking strikes, finger pokes, knuckle strikes to overwhelm his opponent(s). The speed of his strikes while at Full Power increases and as he uses illusions with his four arms, his opponents are having a tough time to dodge, parry or even block his attacks. Also known as "Hundred-Handed Rending Strikes".

- High-Speed Dodging: Dodges incoming strikes from his opponent(s) by infusing his ki into his body to increase his movement speed and motions.
- Afterimage Technique:
- Afterimage Technique - Individual Body Part: Seleno can move a body part at an incredible high speed while the rest of his body doesn't move. This allows him to create excellent feints and illusions to trick his opponents in mid-fights.
- Afterimage Technique:
- Namek Block: Tighten his muscles to absorb a hit, in which the opponent can potentially injure themselves as a result. Cannot absorb stronger hits or attacks too much powerful, in which Seleno can become injured if he is not too careful. Mostly harden his abdominal muscles but also his limbs to prevent getting injured.
- Superior Namek Block:
- Energy Shield: Creates a dome of energy to protect himself from energy-based attacks. Can shatter if the attacks are too powerful, leaving Seleno vulnerable.
- Silentium: Imbues himself in a blast of magic, which allow him to become completely silent and cannot make any types of sounds. This also includes his own attacks, speed and own presence: basically, Seleno silenced his own existence. The time limit for the spell is 3 minutes.
Energy Techniques[]
- Twister Blast: Twirls his hands into spiral motions after charging his energy spheres on each hands and merges them together to create an even larger sphere. Seleno then proceeds to spin the sphere with both hands while sending it toward his opponent at high speed, in which it detonates into a massive explosion taking the form of a big tornado capable of sucking his opponents inside while burning them. Seleno was inspired by natural twisters, after seeing a group of tornadoes during his visit on planet Kerubo.
- Typhoon Blast: A stronger variation, which Seleno creates a much bigger sphere but this time throws the sphere above him, creating a massive twirling explosion of energy with a vacuum effects while he remains in the center to control the typhoon. The technique is much larger than it's predecessor and cost much more energy to make.
- Energy Projectiles:
- Energy Projectiles - Storming Barrage: Creates a large sphere, which fires a myriad of projectiles heading toward his opponent(s).

- Spiral Sorcery Beam: After discovering he had some degree in magic skills, Seleno has managed to create new techniques and among them is one of his signature techniques, the Spiral Sorcery Beam. He focus energy into his arm and make a highly concentrate sphere at the tip of his finger then fires it into a beam that twists itself into a spiral the more it travels. The beam is incredibly lethal and can pierce through thick objects or individuals, capable of killing Seleno's opponents. During his battle against Piccolo, both have clashed with their respective techniques (Piccolo using his Special Beam Cannon) and created a massive energy clash that sent a great shockwave through the arena. Piccolo stated his technique is possibly on par with Seleno's Spiral Sorcery Beam.
- Ki Bomber: Charges an concentrated energy orb in one hand then proceeds to throw the projectile in the form of an arc, which detonates on contact. The explosion is quite massive despite the orb's small appearance. Seleno mostly uses the Ki Bomber as a method of escape when he's surrounded by a large horde.
- Daemonic Furious Bomb: Seleno creates a large reddish energy orb between his two hands, then divides into two smaller orbs grows them larger in which he fuses them into an even larger sphere. He proceeds to throw the sphere at his opponent(s), with the ability of targeting the enemies until it reaches them or a structure, creating a massive explosion. It is powerful enough to shatter the entire landscape of a big island or destroy completely a small island.
- Violent Slicing Bullet: Creates a slashing energy bullet with a waving motion with his hand, capable of cutting through structures and injure severely his opponents. The energy projectiles are rather pinkish in color rather than his usual blue-colored, possibly due to the effect of adding magic in his energy projectile.
- Storming Slicing Bullets: The barrage version of Violent Slicing Bullet. Seleno performs rapid waving movements with his arms, creating a horde of cutting bullets.
- Electro-Blast: Uses his antennae to electrocute his opponents, greatly inflicts a serious amount of pain but also stun their entire nervous system for a long period of time which gives Seleno plenty of time to attack.

- Meditation: Seleno enters into a deep state of concentration and mental focus, not being distracted by anything around him (akin to "shutting his senses"). Meditation is a different alternative method to charge one's energy without the requirement of being overly stressed, aggressive and "hyped" during a fight (without the need of insanely yelling), it also has healing properties that allows Seleno to heal from lethal wounds his auto-regeneration ability cannot achieve (example: lethal wounds imbued with magic prevents his regular healing to happen but with Meditation's magic properties, it allows him to heal the cursed wounds). Meditation also opens the path of discovering other skills, techniques and abilities such as Zen State and Power Burst.
- Power Burst: By lowering his power level and rising it at it's maximum suddenly, Seleno can enhance the speed and impact of his strikes without wasting vast amount of energy in short amount of bursts. This greatly helps save stamina during long fights and can take enemies by surprise if well enough mastered. Seleno learned the technique Jiren, who is claimed to be a master in the usage of the technique. The technique is best used after using Meditation techniques, since it allows to save a large amount of energy.

- Quadruple Additional Arms: Inspired by the Triclops race's Four Witches Techniques, Seleno is capable to replicate the technique in his own ways: by using his complex body physiology to grow another pair of arms behind his shoulders, he can now have a total of four arms to fight his opponents. This vastly enhances his physical strength and therefore greatly increases his offensive/defensive techniques.

- Raiva Torrent (Perfidia): Seleno's seemingly "vomits" a nigh-endless torrent of fiery sludge from his mouth and nostrils but can also use his hands and other limbs to manifest the liquid. By manifesting his anger through his dark magic, he can use those emotions and transform them into physical forms. In this case, Raiva Torrent is his pure rage given the form of a violent stream of dark liquid that burns his enemies, which Seleno associates this with him "vomiting his rage on those he despise". The sludge has burning and corrosive properties, capable to melt metals or stones and burn structures such as wood.

- Namekian Red Eyes: An uncommon transformation among Namekians, in which the user's eyes turn scarlet red. Seleno's power level vastly increases and can gain an upper hand during fights against tougher opponents than himself. The transformation was obtained after Seleno awoken his inner potential, which draws out his vast potential power. He can also add the Red Eyes to other transformations to enhance himself further.
- Giant Namekian: Upon using his regenerative abilities to power up his entire nervous system, Seleno is capable of growing his size while retaining his speed. His height can reach a minimum of 16.5 ft to a maximum of 27 ft tall and his weight varies from his size. He calls this form "Giant Namekian".
- Gigantic Namek: Seleno discovered he could simply enhance his muscle mass rather his entire size, which cost less stamina and much easier to perform. - Full Power: A state when Seleno charges his energy to his maximum, allowing him to perform stronger attacks (physical strike and energy-based attacks), enhancing his speed movements and flight as well empowering his defensive skills and other attributes. This also allows Seleno to use transformations once he reaches his Full Power state.
- Potential Unleashed: After the village elder used his blessing to draw out his hidden potential, Seleno received a tremendous boost of power level and accessed to newfound abilities and techniques. This also helps him to achieve stronger transformations or combining different transformations.
- Potential Unleashed - Ódio Solto:
- Zen State: Also known as "Zen Mode", it allows Seleno to manipulate his energy and focuses it inside him, preventing any leaking to exit which powers himself much more. Seleno requires to empty his mind and not focusing on something, as if he is "meditating" during a battle. It also allows Seleno to focus better during his fights and opens the path to develop new techniques based on mental focus. Over the years, Seleno has successfully managed to perfect his Zen State to the point he managed to gradually became more serious, humble and less rude toward himself and other people. His insane appetite, energy leaks and other weaknesses were also gone all thanks to the Zen Mode.
- Mīséōs State: Considered as the "opposite" of Seleno's Zen Mode in some aspects, as Seleno doesn't empty his mind and the only thought appearing in his mind are negative emotions that only empowers himself but loses all control of his own emotions. Seleno taps into his inner grudge against life itself, breaking his limits and allows him to reach upper levels of strength deemed impossible by the Namekians.

- Comically Large Staff: A metallic staff used for multiple purposes but mostly efficient in battles, which can retract it's length or grow much more taller than it's regular size.

- Plastic Boomerang (formerly): When visiting Universe 6's Earth, Seleno got lost in a town and ended up in front of a Searmart Co. grocery store, he decided to take a look and went to the toy section, in which he bought a regular sized boomerang made of plastic. He founds the toy amusing, much lighter than wood and metal which allows the toy to be thrown much faster but has less durability and thus prone to break easier. Used during his fights against Cabba and other Saiyans, which proved to be quite effective as a distracting tool but a Saiyan soldier blasted the toy into pieces.
- Sarbacane: A long tube in which Seleno inserts objects such as darts, rocks and small metallic spheres, then uses his great lung capacity to blow into the tube and sends the projectiles at a high speed. The projectiles are capable of piercing thick walls of rock and injure individuals. Often uses his sarbacane to annoy people he dislikes. During his younger years on Namek, he made his sarbacane with Namekian trees and other materials such as metal.

- Namekian Spacepod (formerly): His main vehicle for long distance transportations ever since he ran away from his homeworld. Seleno consider his spacepod as his "house". As time goes by, he learned how to repair and upgrade his small pod. Even though it's small, the ship can fit a dozen of individuals according to Seleno.
- Namekian Spacepod 2.0: After getting attacked by hordes of Marauders, Seleno went to a space engineer repair (since he lacked the tools and wanted to learn more on mechanic and engineering), his spacepod has now a better defense system, better arsenal to attack and upgraded speed meter.
- Motorbike (formerly): During his trip on Universe 7's Earth, he bought a motorbike, occasionally repairing and upgrading the vehicle as a hobby. His motorbike was destroyed during a scuffle with the mafia gangs of Papaya Island, much to his chagrin.

- Spyel: Seleno's first friend and the one who proposed the name "Seleno" to the village's elder. Their friendship bond is strong, possibly causing them to grow stronger as a result. Spyel was also the one to knock the soul out of Tropo by sending the old senior into a wall via a mighty punch. In an ironic twist of fate, Spyel unknowingly gave the name Seleno without knowing it's double meaning, which translates as "Sole with Oneself" in which it will affect Seleno's life.
- Saonel: One of his many mentors and close friends, Seleno considers Saonel as his "culture teacher" since he is the one who taught Seleno about Namekian culture and the lifestyle of the inhabitants.
- Pilina: Pilina acts as Seleno's "martial art teacher", although this role also belongs to Saonel, Spyel and Bryda.
- Bryda: Like Spyel, Bryda acts as a close friend for Seleno to confess his thoughts and emotions personally. Unlike Spyel, Bryda believes in Seleno's dreams and aspirations to come true.
- Zailo'fonn: A comrade of Seleno. Zailo'fonn is a year younger than Seleno, in some ways he views Seleno as his "older brother".
- The Elder: The Namekian leader of Planet Namek from Universe 6. The relationship between the elder and Seleno are akin to a father-son bond but some views it more as a grandfather-grandson bond. Seleno respects the elder for giving him a second chance to live, the old Namekian returns the feeling and is happy for Seleno's growth. The elder does his best to create a peaceful environment on Namek, although the opposition against Seleno's presence tires him.
- Lanumos: During his journey on Planet Sadala, Cabba introduced to Seleno his friend Lanumos, whose background originates from Saiyan noble households. Seleno, knowing the total injustice running between the common and higher classes across several worlds, hesitated to greet him but the two formed a good friendship. Seleno learned not all nobles and higher classes are arrogant, corrupted by greed and vile in their natures.
- Mr. Satan: He is surprisingly friendly towards Hercules and literally believes everything Hercules is telling him (Seleno has a naive side and susceptible of being tricked when he isn't fighting against opponents). Seleno became a great fan to Mr. Satan and enjoys watching his entertaining fights.
- Good Buu/Innocent Buu: In addition of meeting Mr. Satan, Seleno meet Majin Buu as well and they eventually became friends (Seleno had a slight hard time to understand the creature). Buu introduced Seleno the existence of candies and sweets, in which the Phantom grow a liking on this new type of food.
- Instructor Haytee-Turi: During his days on Earth, Seleno meet a fighting instructor named Haytee-Turi and the two became friends because they had a few things in common (both are food connoisseurs but mostly enjoy consuming disgusting and odd meals, Haytee-Turi was a former runaway just like Seleno, they are fan of Mr. Satan.) and remained friends ever since.

- Cabba (temporary/formerly): Seleno and Cabba had an on-and-off relationship, their meetings always ends up into a catastrophe and Seleno believes Cabba is just a massive nuisance for his path of exile. On the other hand, Cabba attempts to understand Seleno and wants to learn more about him. Most of the time, Cabba misunderstood Seleno's intentions, plans, ideas and point of views which results the Ghost Namekian to get angry at the Saiyan. Ever since the Earth Incident, Cabba repeatedly misjudged him too many times, caused so much trouble for Seleno and a massive misunderstood between the two resulted into a full violent brawl that caused the destruction of multiple cities. Seleno became grudgeful against the Saiyan and hardly shows any respects, possibly never forgiving Cabba.
- Sir Santo Macho: Known for his powerful throws and solid armbars, Sir Santo Macho is a full-time wrestler and part-time vigilante. Along with his closest friend, El Luta-Luchador, both wrestlers forms the invincible vigilante duo "Papaya Guerreros". Seleno admires Santo Macho's devastating armbars, strong suplexes and power bombs to the point he decided to learn those techniques from the wrestler.
- El Luta-Luchador: A flamboyant wrestler who is known for his acrobatic flips mixed with grappling techniques, a popular wrestler the day and a crime fighter at night. His best friend is Sir Santo Macho, the two wrestlers makes up as the famous "Papaya Guerreros". Seleno was interested of in Luta-Luchador's exquisite acrobatics, somersaults and flexible mid-air jumps with grappling skills, he managed to become a student of the wrestler

- Leppu: Leppu is a member of the same race as Appule but decided to defect from Frieza's massive army because he doesn't share the same views as the tyrant. He became a useful ally to Seleno during his cosmic journey, teaching him how not every member of a race are evil at heart.
Rivals[]
- Mamora: He is among the strongest members of the planet and dislikes Seleno mostly due to his "punk behavior" rather than his appearance. Ever since Seleno has surpassed him, Mamora became more grudgeful and wished for Seleno to leave the planet but felt remorseful when Seleno actually left Namek. Mamora is the leader of his small gang, along with Obruto and Lamys.
- Obruto: Obruto despised Seleno's appearance and tend to call him "Namek's Greatest Freak" to insult him, often infuriating the latter. But as Seleno became more mature with time, he ignored Obruto's insults and answered with a punch into the face. Obruto is often seen as the "brute" of Mamora's gang but he is surprisingly wise and can be cunning during battles.
- Lamys: Dislikes Seleno because of his appearance and his rebellious attitude. He is the only member who uses locking techniques, though Seleno vastly surpasses Lamys in terms of skills and and array of techniques.

- Tropo: An old Namekian who is revered as a wise senior, who dislikes Seleno's appearance and teenage attitude. During a boiling argument, Tropo insulted Seleno about his appearance and how much he is a disgusting "curse" to everyone Namek, which caused Seleno pointed out the old Namekian is just afraid because of a pathetic threat made by the demonic wizard and will forever live in fear as long as he cannot get out of the past. Spyel had enough of Tropo's constant insults, lashing out on the senior by sending a powerful punch into his jaw and knocking him out.
- Cabba: After Seleno became grudgeful and tired of Cabba, he decided to severe the bond between the two and started to think about getting his revenge.

- Seleno's name, aliases/nicknames and appearance is based on the Selenochlamys ysbryda, which is mostly known as the "ghost slug" due to it's pale color.
- It is also known for lacking eyes, something Seleno lacks in physical appearance but only in mentality.
- Unlike the majority of slugs, it is carnivorous and mostly feeds on earthworms. This also was an inspiration for Seleno's abnormal carnivorous appetite.
- Just like the real-life slug, Seleno possess incredible blade-like sharp rows of teeth.
- Two of Seleno's closest friends, Lamys and Brida, also have their names based on the "ghost slug" but their appearance isn't as near as Seleno.
- The Comically Large Staff is obviously inspired from the Internet meme Comically Large Spoon.
