Super Saiyan Blue 3 (超サイヤ人ブルー3 Sūpā Saiya-jin Burū Surī) is the third form of Super Saiyan Blue and the successor to the second transformation. This is a form that combines the power of Super Saiyan God with the third Super Saiyan form.
This form can be accessed by absorbing the powers of a god and then simultaneously activating them while transforming into a Super Saiyan 3. This form surpasses its predecessor, Super Saiyan Blue 2.
In contrast, the Super Saiyan Rosé 3 form is the result of a truly divine Saiyan transforming into the third Super Saiyan form or the divine counterpart of Super Saiyan Blue 3.
Overview[]
This form of Super Saiyan Blue 3 is achievable by a Saiyan who has already obtained the Super Saiyan Blue 2 form and then trains intensely.
Appearance[]
This form is nearly identical to the third Super Saiyan form, the only main differences being that the hair and irises are now cyanish in color (albeit the irises change to a slightly darker color than the hair). Compared to the Super Saiyan Blue 2 form, the user's musculature is slightly larger than that in Super Saiyan Blue 2 as it remains pretty much the same as in Super Saiyan 3.
Super Saiyan Blue 3 boasts a vibrant, fiery, electric blue aura, as opposed to the golden yellow aura of Super Saiyan 3. The aura surrounding the Super Saiyan Blue 3 form also appears to be glittering somewhat, with small sparkling particles of energy traveling upwards within the flames, with occasional surges of electricity. If one inspects closely, a very subtle yellow glow can be seen on the outside of the aura as well. It could be remnants of the original Super Saiyan 3 transformation. Unlike the main Super Saiyan transformations, the user's body does not glow in Blue form without an aura.
When the user first transforms, they are enveloped by an aura of white energy, leaving a dark silhouette of themselves in it. They are then surrounded by a shell of blue ki which cracks and breaks apart, revealing the transformed user within, before the fiery aura explodes forth. Most subsequent transformations behave like an ordinary Super Saiyan 3, in which the user's hair rises, grows, and turns blue.
Usage and power[]
Simply, it is the third Super Saiyan form combined with the power and godly ki of a Super Saiyan God turned cyan blue, due to a mortal absorbing it. The Saiyan can evolve their standard Super Saiyan 3 form into a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form if they increase its strength until it surpasses Super Saiyan Blue 2. This form possesses huge energy consumption, albeit, not as much as Super Saiyan 3 due to it having better ki control than that of a Super Saiyan Blue. The Super Saiyan Blue 3 form gives the user four times the strength of a Super Saiyan Blue 2, so it multiplies a regular Super Saiyan Blue's power by eight times.
To transform into a Super Saiyan Blue 3, the Saiyan must already possess the prior Super Saiyan Blue form and the Super Saiyan 3 form, then tap into that energy, allowing them to undergo the godly transformation.
Due to it being Super Saiyan Blue stacked on top of Super Saiyan 3, the form drains a lot of stamina upon transforming, not as much compared to transforming after unlocking the Super Saiyan Blue form. In addition, similar to Super Saiyan Blue 4, the strain regarding ki becomes significant when utilizing the form in a fusion, whether by Potara earrings. However, the strain does not seem to be present when using the Fusion Dance.
Enhancement[]
- Super Saiyan Blue 3 Kaio-ken - The Super Saiyan Blue form can be used alongside Kaio-ken to increase the transformation's power. Due to better ki control, theoretically, the form can be used up to X30, though this is unknown due to the energy consumption still being present.
