The Versatile-Energy-Conversion-System (多用途のエネルギー変換システム), better known as the V.E.C. System is a network created by Shūkaku Tech and was originally designed for civilian use.
Usage[]
This system is meticulously engineered to effectively absorb an individual's Ki and repurpose it for a diverse array of applications, demonstrating remarkable adaptability. While initially conceptualized and developed with civilian applications in mind, the V.E.C. System has undergone a significant strategic redirection, now serving primarily as a critical tool and asset for advanced military operations and tactical advantages. In stark contrast to Absoralium, which primarily functions by amplifying a metal's inherent strength and destructive capabilities in direct proportion to the amount of absorbed energy, the V.E.C. System exhibits a significantly broader and more nuanced spectrum of utility and potential applications. Through the implementation of precise and meticulously executed sequencing protocols, this advanced system possesses the remarkable ability to transmute concentrations of Ki into wide and various arrays of known materials, with the notable exception being Absoralium itself and any metallic alloys that are directly derived from it.
The rate at which Ki undergoes conversion is directly and dynamically influenced by the complexity of the target material; the more intricate the material's structural composition, the more extended and prolonged the conversion process will inevitably become. Counter to this, if the material has been made multiple times before then the next sequencing of that material will take dramatically less time than it had prior.
The V.E.C. System demonstrates exceptional adaptability, from armor-level clothing known as Rindweave to specialized weapons known as Haraetō, this system is able to offer much in the way of versatility.
User Interface[]
The V.E.C. System is designed with flexibility in mind, featuring distinct and specialized interfaces tailored for various operational purposes. These interfaces can also be seamlessly interchanged and selected at the user's discretion.
Automatic[]
The Automatic Interface provides direct access to a vast and comprehensive library, informally referred to as the Omnium Gatherum. This interface allows any user to effortlessly select and choose what they wish to transmute their accumulated energy into; most commonly, warriors and combat specialists opt for options from the Arsenal, which is a carefully curated category encompassing a wide array of known and officially approved weapons specifically designed and optimized for various combat scenarios.
Manual[]
The Manual Interface is structurally and functionally differentiated from the Automatic Interface. Rather than relying on a pre-existing library of known materials, this interface mandates that the user manually input the necessary specifications and parameters. This approach offers a significantly greater degree of freedom and customization, but it also presents a higher learning curve and is vastly more challenging to operate effectively, requiring a substantial level of technical intelligence and expertise to operate properly and achieve optimal results. Through this interface, the user can provide the system with unique and specific parameters, effectively acting as the programmer or coder for the item they are seeking to fabricate.
Assessment[]
Departing from the conventional input of Ki energy and output of physical material, the Assessment Interface operates in the opposite manner compared to the previously described modes. With this specialized interface, users can conduct thorough scans of unknown materials and subsequently add the acquired data to the Omnium Gatherum, thereby enabling the replication, detailed analysis, and potential repurposing of the examined material for various applications. The scanning process is inherently time-consuming due to the meticulous nature of the procedure, as it maps and analyzes every aspect of the material down to the fundamental atomic level, ensuring comprehensive and accurate data acquisition.
Generations[]
1st Gen.[]
The first generation of the V.E.C. System was a large contraption that required massive amounts of time and Ki to fabricate items.
2st Gen.[]
Handheld device that when empowered with Ki is able to convert that energy into common items at a far faster rate and with less energy consumption then the previous generation.
3rd Gen.[]
This generation is far more compact than the previous iterations, being imbedded into a form fitting mesh that clings to the users body, taking on an appearance close to that of spandex. When energy is passed through this layer of fabric it can be allocated to the V.E.C System with set parameters to materialize weapons, clothing and other materials. This iteration is historically the most well known for its militaristic use and integration of the Haraetō into its library.
